An integrated auxiliary USB port
As the USB port of your smartphone is used for connecting and powering the Swalt Case, the latter provides an auxiliary USB port.
- You won't have to remove your smartphone from the case to charge your device.
- You can continue to use your smartphone in OTG mode without any conflict with the Swalt Case.
Finally a smart card reader integrated into your mobile
A contact smart card reader is accessible from the side of your device, without increasing the size of your case. This will allow you to transform your mobile into any device that needs this capacity :
- Make payment transactions Visa/Mastercard with the same level of security as a payment terminal
- Use your ID card for strong authentication
- Carry out teleconsultations by inserting your health insurance card.
An integrated screen to secure interactions with the application
Being aware that attacks can come from the user interface, we have equipped the Swalt Case with an LCD screen which will allow among other things :
- To inform you of the status of your secure application
- To validate that the information displayed on your smartphone screen has not been falsified
- To enter secret codes.
Swalt Application Store, a secure extension over existing application stores
Continue to install your applications from traditional App Stores. On first launch, the application will install the secure code in the memory of your smart case and the exchanges between the two are done in an encrypted manner via the USB connector.

The main features of our hardware described below raise the security level of applications running on it
Certified secure equipment
The Smart case is certified by a recognized third party. This attests to the robustness of the product, based on a compliance analysis and penetration tests carried out by a third-party evaluator under an authority.
Secured Element inside
The smart case has an electronic card with a secure processor in its thickness. This hardware as a Trusted execution environment is used to process sensitive data and encrypt it. Only encrypted data passes through the smartphone's OS.
Smart card reader for contact transactions
The contact smart card reader allows for more secure and complex operations than with the NFC sensor alone. An obvious use is EMV transactions that interact with a secure element such as the smart card.
Secured NFC for contactless transactions
A secure NFC sensor replacing the smartphone's. The data received by this sensor is processed by the smart case's processor and never passes unencrypted into the mobile's OS.
Secure screen included
A secure LCD display on the front of the Smart Case is an essential element to protect sensitive data.
This is used to display sensitive data and plays a key role in ensuring the security of user interactions.
Easy USB connection
The connection between the case and the mobile is easily made by a POGO type magnetic connector. There is no need for a pairing procedure as for a Bluetooth connection.

1. Which smartphone models are compatible with the Swalt case ?
For now the Swalt Case is available for some Android phones such as the most common Samsung models. We are working with partners to be able to support most of the most common models on the market. We are also able to meet specific requests depending on the quantities ordered.
2. Can I use the case on several of my phones or lend it to someone I trust ?
The Swalt Case can only work with one smartphone. In fact, when it is first used, a pairing process is performed which ensures that it can only communicate with your mobile. It is of course possible to unpair the Swalt Case to use it with another phone. This procedure will erase all data contained in the device's memory.
3. Is there a risk if I lose my case ?
As explained in the previous question, the case is necessarily paired with a phone and can only work with it. If you lose your case, no sensitive data can be accessed by anyone else because it is encrypted. In addition, a secret erasure process is carried out during any attempt to open the case.
4. Why the secure element of the phone is not enough, why do I need Swalt? What more does Swalt offer compared to a mobile with a TrustZone ?
The Swalt Case has its own TrustZone, this allows you to upgrade the security level of a phone that does not have TEE. In addition, Swalt has its own secure application store that interacts with the TrustZone. Finally, the smart card reader allows you to add a level of security that is not available on smartphones on the market.
5. Why make my payments with the Swalt case rather than with my mobile ?
The Swalt Case allows you to make payments using your own Visa/Mastercard bank card with the same level of security and assurance as if you were doing it at a merchant. In addition, using the chip card reader allows you to pay amounts above the thresholds set for contactless payment.
6. What advantages does the Swalt case provide for a Point of Sale solution compared to a certified MPOS mobile application ?
The Swalt PoS solution offers a higher level of security than purely software-based contactless MPOS solutions. You have a real certified payment terminal on your phone and you can receive payments of any amount with a minimum insurance cost.
